Our lovely nesting residences for ducks and other waterfowls are Hexagonal Duck Houses that can be placed in lakes or ponds. By providing these houses, you can help to minimize the risk of predators ravaging nests for eggs. To ensure stability, the houses must be moored to the bottom of the lake using either anchor poles or p-ring anchors, as described in the mounting instructions.
It is important to note that wild ducks typically do not find nesting material on their own. Therefore, supplying and decorating the Duck House with nesting material is crucial to ensure that it is accepted by the ducks. Each nesting room should be supplied with approximately a 15 cm thick layer of mulch. Straw and similar light materials are not suitable nesting materials, as the ducks will remove them or push them out of the nests.
Our Hexagonal Duck Houses are designed with separate entrances for each nesting room, making it easy for the ducks to enter and exit the nesting house. The houses are mainly produced using composite materials, which offer benefits such as water-tightness,heat insulation, corrosion resistance, strength, low weight, and minimal maintenance. The exterior composite walls are clad with wood to provide the houses with a natural look.
Thank you for considering our Hexagonal Duck Houses as an option for providing safe and secure nesting residences for ducks and other waterfowl.
